XP & levels
Last updated: 27 September 2026
What it does
Liora rewards taking part in a server with XP (experience points) and levels.
- Chatting: a message earns a few XP (6 to 22), at most once a minute, so spamming doesn't help.
- Voice: time spent talking in voice channels earns XP each minute, a little more with friends or a camera on.
- Conversation bonus (optional, off unless a server turns it on): a small extra for real back-and-forth conversations, capped every day so it can't be farmed.
- Double XP channel: some servers have a channel that gives double XP for a while.
- Rewards: level-up announcements,
/rankcards, leaderboards, roles unlocked at certain levels, and channels that open up as you level. - Role shop (if a server sets one up): spend levels or Embers on roles the server offers.
What it keeps
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your XP, level, text and voice XP, and highest level per server | So your progress is saved | While you're in the server |
| When you left a server | So your data can be cleaned up | 72 hours |
| Saved XP backups made by a server's admins | So admins can undo mistakes | Until replaced; /forgetme removes you from them |
Our promises
- The 72-hour promise: if you leave a server, your XP there is deleted 72 hours later. Come back within 72 hours and everything is exactly where you left it.
- No one can ever pay real money for XP, levels or Embers. They're earned by taking part, never bought.
Your control
/privacy mydatashows your XP everywhere./privacy forgetmedeletes your XP in every server, including the admins' saved backups.
Fair play
- Don't farm XP: spamming, scripts, alt accounts, or idling in voice to grind. Servers may reset or remove XP earned unfairly.
- XP is for fun and recognition. It never gives anyone power over other members.
