Liora's Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Hi! This is how Liora Altima, the Discord companion, looks after your information. We've kept it in plain words. The short version: Liora keeps as little as she can, for as short as she can, never sells anything, and you can see or erase what she has about you at any time.
Liora is made and run by Bliss (BlissfulWizard on Discord) with a small team of friends. She's a hobby project in a small closed beta, not a company.
1. Your two magic commands
/privacy mydataprivately shows you everything Liora keeps about you, in every server./privacy forgetmeerases it. A few things stay on purpose, like moderation records (see section 6).
You never need to ask anyone for permission to use them.
2. What Liora keeps, and for how long
Liora only keeps what a feature needs to work. Here's the summary. Each feature's own section (linked) has the full detail.
| About you | How long | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Recent chat in a channel, so she can follow the conversation (encrypted) | Up to 7 days, at most 75 lines per channel | Talking with Liora |
| Her impression of you and a friendliness score, per server, from messages you send her (encrypted); who tends to talk with whom | Impression: unused after 30 days without talking to her, deleted after 90. Who talks with whom: until you ask her to forget you | Talking with Liora |
| A note that you said you're under 18 | 1 year | Age & safety |
| That you picked Under 18 in an adults-only server, and when | 1 year | Age & safety |
| Your XP and levels, per server | While you're in the server; deleted 72 hours after you leave | XP & levels |
| Your Embers, per server, and a record of each one earned or spent | Embers: as XP. Record: 90 days | Embers & cosmetics |
| Cosmetics you own | Until you ask to forget | Embers & cosmetics |
| Marriage, Hearth, prenup, proposals turned down | Until the marriage ends; proposals 7 days | Marriage |
| Your Domination Family and points | Until the Family or season ends | Domination |
| Your companion and your current story vote | While you're in the server | Games & fun |
| Strikes and warnings | Strikes fade after 6 months; entries deleted after 2 years | Moderation |
| Recent messages, so staff can see edits and deletions | 7 days | Moderation |
| A locked copy of a message Safeguard stepped in on (a dox, a threat, an IP grabber), with who posted it and where (encrypted) | 90 days; up to a year if the server's owner keeps it for a report | Safeguard |
| If you're on Liora's safety watchlist: your user ID, why, and who listed you (encrypted) | Until Bliss or Mother remove it; reviewed after 180 days | Safeguard |
| Your playlists and liked songs | Until you delete them, or 72 hours after you've left every server | Music |
| Joining a server through the Library; reports you sent about a listing | 30 days; 7 days | Library |
| Your birthday (month and day, never the year) | Until you remove it, or 72 hours after you've left every server | Birthdays |
| Days you were counted as active; your recent join | 14 days; 30 days | Server analytics |
| The date you were last active in a server | Until 72 hours after you leave that server | Server analytics |
| That a voice room is yours, while it's open | Until the room closes | Voice rooms |
| The voice you picked for text to speech | Until you change it back or ask to forget | Text to speech |
| Giveaways you entered, won or started (and each giveaway's prize, place and end time) | 30 days after the giveaway ends | Giveaways |
| That a message on a server's starboard is yours (with its copy and star count) | A year after its last star, or until the copy comes down | Starboard |
| Suggestions you sent, and which way you voted on them | 180 days after anything last happened to each, or until it's deleted | Suggestions |
Reminders you asked for with /remind: what, when, where, and whether they repeat | Until they go off (or you cancel a repeating one), then a day for Snooze | Reminders |
| Colours you asked her to add to a server's palette: the name, colour, server and when | 30 days (for the one-a-day limit) | Role Menus |
| If Bliss credits you for helping Liora grow: the name you're credited as and what you helped with (both shown at laltima.com/credits), and your user ID so only you can change or remove it | Until you take it off (!credits remove) or ask her to forget you. Leaving her servers doesn't remove it | The dashboard & laltima.com |
| If you ask for an invite to LAOBTS, her beta testing server: that you asked, the invite and which of your servers it was for, and whether you used it. If you send a report there: what you wrote, and that you sent it | Until you ask her to forget you (the report cards and threads in LAOBTS are ordinary Discord messages) | The beta testing server |
| Liora's working log: the technical notes she writes while running (start-up, errors, short notes of what she did, sometimes with a username or ID) | 7 days, then deleted automatically | Only Bliss's computer |
The 72-hour promise: when you leave a server, what Liora keeps about you there is deleted 72 hours later (come back sooner and it's all still there). Things that belong to you rather than a server, like playlists, cosmetics and birthdays, go once you've been gone from every server Liora is in for 72 hours.
What she never keeps: confessions, quote cards, Mafia games, mini-games, invite logs, or your login. Those either aren't saved at all or are ordinary Discord messages in a server, which that server's staff control.
3. Who else sees your information
Liora never sells or rents anything about you, and never shows you ads. To work, she uses a few outside services. Each gets only what it needs:
| Service | What it gets | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Discord | Everything Liora does happens on Discord | It's where she lives |
| Google Gemini | The conversation she's replying to; server details when writing a Library blurb or weekly recap | To think of her replies |
| Anthropic Claude | The same, but only when Claude is answering instead of Gemini (Gemini's credit has run out, Gemini can't be reached, or Bliss chose Claude) | To think of her replies |
| Giphy, Pexels, DuckDuckGo | Search words only, never your messages | To find GIFs and pictures |
| YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon Music | Song names or links only, never who asked | To find and play music |
| LRCLIB, Radio Browser | Song names; station searches | For lyrics and radio |
| Cloudflare | Visits to laltima.com | It carries the website's traffic |
| Google Fonts, unpkg.com | Your browser's request for fonts and the emoji picker | To display the website |
| Patreon | Only what you give them, if you click Support Liora. Patreon tells Liora nothing: if you link your Discord account there, Patreon gives you the Supporter role in The Agora, and Liora only looks at that role | Tips, and the supporters' thank-you theme |
Each of these has its own privacy policy.
Inside a server, some things are shown to that server's staff so they can keep it safe: reports Liora passes on, who sent a confession, who joined with which invite, and the moderation logs they switch on. Liora's team (Bliss and Mother (Veronica), and nobody else) can open and change any server's dashboard, and every change they make is labelled in that server's security log. See Invites & team visits and The dashboard.
4. The website and logging in
You log in to laltima.com with Discord. Liora only asks Discord who you are and which servers you're in, never your email. Your login stays in your browser (a secure cookie, up to 30 days), not on Liora's side, and logging out cancels it with Discord too. The site remembers small things like your theme in your own browser. No ads, no trackers. Details: The dashboard & laltima.com.
5. Keeping it safe
- Liora's data is stored on the computer that runs her, looked after by Bliss. Liora's team and her users are all over the world, and the outside services in section 3 (like Discord and Google) handle information in their own countries, mostly the United States. Wherever you are, the promises in this policy stay the same.
- Her conversation memory and her impressions of people are encrypted, and so are her backups.
- The secret keys that protect Liora (her Discord token, the website's keys) are never shared or published.
- The website only works over secure HTTPS connections.
No system is perfect. If something ever went wrong with your information, we'd tell the servers affected in The Agora and through Liora.
6. What stays when you ask to be forgotten
/privacy forgetme erases almost everything. A few things stay, on purpose:
- Moderation records (strikes, warnings, reports about you). Letting people erase their own warnings would defeat the point. They follow their own time limits instead (strikes fade after 6 months, entries go after 2 years).
- An adults-only server's closed door (you picked Under 18 there). It's a safety record, like a moderation note, so it stays for its year; the server's staff can clear it early. See Age & safety.
- Messages in a server. Anything posted in a server (logs, confessions, quote cards, transcripts) is an ordinary Discord message, and that server's staff decide what to keep. Liora can't delete other people's servers' messages for you.
- Safeguard's evidence cases and the safety watchlist. They exist so threats and doxxing can be reported and dangerous accounts recognised, so the person they're about can't erase them. They follow their own limits instead. See Safeguard.
- Server lore mentioning you. The server's staff can remove it with
/lore delete.
7. Age
Liora is made for adults (18+). Everyone on Discord must be at least 13, following Discord's own rules. If someone tells Liora they're under 18, she stays strictly wholesome with them everywhere. Server owners decide who can join their server and are responsible for its age settings. More: Age & safety.
8. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let people know in The Agora. Liora's features and their policy sections are kept in step: when something about your information changes, the section changes with it.
9. Questions and requests
Anything this policy doesn't answer, or anything /privacy mydata and /privacy forgetme can't do for you, ask Bliss on Discord (@thenamesbliss) or in Liora's home server, The Agora.
