Embers & cosmetics

What it is
Embers are Liora's reward for taking part. Each server decides whether to turn them on (/economy enable), and they're off until it does.
How you earn them:
/daily: 100 Embers a day, plus a bonus for keeping a streak (up to 200 a day).- Chatting: 2 Embers for a real message, at most once a minute and 150 a day, so spamming doesn't pay.
- Playing Liora's games, voting in stories, caring for your companion, and other activities, each with a small daily limit.
What you can do with them:
- Buy cosmetics: titles, badges, rank-card themes, level-up styles, companion skins, Family banners and Hearth decorations. Cosmetics are only for show.
- Spend them in a server's role shop, if the server prices it in Embers.
- Save them in a shared Hearth with your partner if you're married (see "Marriage").
Some badges can't be bought at all. They're only earned, like the Domination Crown or the Rival badge.
Our promises
- Embers can only be earned. No one can ever pay real money for Embers, XP or levels.
- Embers can't be sent between people, so they can't be traded, sold, or taken from someone.
- No gambling, no loot boxes, no luck. Every price and reward is fixed and shown up front.
- Cosmetics are only cosmetic. They never give XP, roles, access or any advantage.
- If Liora ever offers paid extras in the future, they will only ever be cosmetic.
- The 72-hour promise applies to Embers too: leave a server and your Embers there are deleted 72 hours later. Your cosmetics stay, because they belong to you, not to the server.

Fixing mistakes
Liora's small team of operators can correct someone's Embers if something went wrong (a bug, or a reward that didn't arrive). Every correction is recorded with who made it and why.

Fair play
Using alt accounts, scripts or bugs to farm Embers isn't allowed. Embers earned that way may be removed. If you find a bug, please report it instead of using it; that's how Liora gets better.
