What it does
Liora can play music in voice channels: songs, playlists, radio stations and links from most music services.
- Play and control:
/play,/pause,/skip,/queueand more, plus buttons on the "now playing" card. - Ask in chat: "liora play" followed by a link (or @Liora play and a link) works like
/playwith that link: she joins your voice channel, plays it, and the "now playing" card shows as usual. - Links from anywhere: YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, radio, and links from Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal and Amazon Music. For those last five, Liora only reads the song's name and artist, then finds the song on YouTube to play it.
- Your playlists and liked songs: save up to 15 playlists of up to 300 songs each, and a Liked Songs list. They're yours and work in every server Liora is in.
- Lyrics, filters and radio: lyrics for the song that's playing, sound filters, and live radio stations.
- Web player: a page where you can see what's playing and control it from your browser.
- Server settings: admins can set up DJ roles, vote-to-skip, and a 24/7 mode where Liora stays in a channel.
Liora never listens to or records anyone in voice. She only plays.
Who can do what
- Anyone in the voice channel can queue songs, unless the server has DJ mode on. Then only DJs control playback, and everyone else votes to skip.
- The web player needs you to log in with Discord. You can only see a server's player if you're a member there, and you can only control it if you're in Liora's voice channel and allowed by the DJ rules.
- Liora leaves after 5 minutes with nothing playing, or 5 minutes alone in the channel, unless the server has 24/7 mode on.
What goes to other services
To find and play songs, Liora sends only the song name or link, never who asked for it, to:
- YouTube (to find and stream songs), and SoundCloud or Bandcamp when you use their links;
- Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon Music (only to read a song's name from a link you shared);
- LRCLIB (lrclib.net) for lyrics;
- Radio Browser (radio-browser.info) for radio stations.
Those services have their own privacy policies.
What she keeps
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your playlists and liked songs (songs only, never who queued them) | So you can play them again | Until you delete them, or 72 hours after you've left every server Liora is in |
| Who requested each song in a 24/7 server's saved queue | So the queue survives a restart | While it's in the queue |
| A server's music stats: number of plays, listening time, top 300 songs | For the server's music stats | While the server uses Liora |
| A server's music settings (DJ role, 24/7, volume) | To remember the setup | While the server uses Liora |
Server stats count songs, never people.

Fair play
- Only play music you're allowed to share with the people in your voice channel. Liora streams publicly available audio; she doesn't download or store songs.
- Don't use DJ powers or queue flooding to take over a channel. Server staff can limit who controls music.
