Confessions

What it does
/confess lets you share something without your name on it. Liora posts it in the server's confessions channel as "Anonymous Confession #12". It's off unless staff switch it on and pick a channel.
Who can see who sent it
- Other members can't. The public post has no name, no picture and nothing else that points to you.
- The server's staff can. Liora shows them who sent each confession, with the confession itself, in the server's private security log. That way they can step in if a confession threatens or bullies someone, or help if someone is in trouble.
Liora tells you this before you send (in the command itself), after you send (in the private confirmation), and on every confession (in its footer). If she's asked, she says so too.
Be kind with it
- Don't use confessions to name, expose, threaten or bully anyone. Staff can see who sent it, and the server's rules still apply.
- If you're going through something heavy, confessions are a place to be heard, but please also reach out to someone you trust or to local support services.
What she keeps
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| How many confessions each server has had | To number them (#12, #13...) | While the server uses Liora |
Liora doesn't keep confessions herself. The public post and the staff log entry are Discord messages in that server, so they stay until the server's staff delete them.
