Quote cards
Last updated: 29 September 2026
What it does
Turn a message into a black-and-white quote card, with the person's picture, their words and their @name.
- Right-click a message → Apps → Quote It, or use
/quoteitor!quoteitwith a message link (or reply to a message). With nothing chosen, Liora quotes the last real chat message in the channel. - The card is posted in the server's quotes channel if staff picked one, otherwise right where you asked.
- Long messages are trimmed to about 280 characters.
Fair to the person quoted
- They can take it down. Every card has a Remove button that works for the person quoted (and for staff), even long after it was posted.
- You can only quote what you can see. Liora won't quote a message from a channel you can't read.
- Private stays private. Liora won't post a card from a private or NSFW channel into a channel more people (or younger people) can see.
- No sneaking around channel rules. You can't make a card in a channel you're not allowed to post in.
What she keeps
Nothing. Liora makes the card on the spot and doesn't save the message, the card or who asked for it. The card is an ordinary Discord message in that server, so it stays until someone removes it.
To draw the card, Liora downloads the quoted person's profile picture from Discord for a moment. It isn't kept.
