Reminders
What it does
Anyone can ask Liora to remind them of something with /remind me: how long from now (ten minutes, two hours, three days, up to a year) and what. She reminds you where you asked, pinging only you, or by DM if you'd rather. A reminder can repeat every day or every week. Two Snooze buttons on it bring it back in ten minutes or an hour.
/remind list shows yours and /remind cancel takes one away. Both are private: only you see them.
Fair and safe
- Only you are pinged. Nobody else named in your reminder is pinged, and
@everyonenever works in one. - She reminds you by DM instead if you asked for that, if the channel is gone or you can't see it any more, or if the server's staff have switched channel reminders off on her dashboard.
- If she was offline when a reminder was due, she sends it as soon as she's back and says it's late. A repeating reminder skips the times it missed instead of going off several times at once.
- Up to 25 reminders waiting at once, each under 500 characters.
